DESCRIPTION:Saturday\, 11 March 2017. \nApplefest is Harcourt’s day of local celebration of the tastiest industry around. All the fun of a village festival\, with a market\, children’s activities\, fresh produce\, street parade and art show. Whether you like pie\, cider\, toffee apples or simply beautiful fresh fruit\, there’s heaps of fun for everyone. \nGoing from strength to strength each year\, Applefest draws in thousands of visitors from across the country. Scheduled every year for the Saturday preceding the Labour Day long weekend\, many of our visitors stay on longer\, enjoying the areas unique hospitality\, indulging in our top-shelf vineyards and relaxing amid the serene landscape. \nIf you’d like to be part of the Applefest market or the organising committee\, keep an eye on this page! DESCRIPTION:‘Why waste thousands of dollars on an airfare to Britain when you can see the best of an English heritage garden just one hour out of Melbourne?’  Stephen Ryan \nDuneira’s stunning heritage garden (c. 1872) will be open to the public on selected days. The architecture\, size and array of plants are a great tribute to Duneira’s colonial past and to the unusual climate of Mt Macedon. The garden dramatically responds to the seasons and you can view the beautiful tones of the autumn season. \nNo bookings required\, just pay at the gate. Correct change is greatly appreciated. You are welcome to bring a picnic and spend time in the garden. \nPer adult $10 entry. Children are free.\nA fundraising event for Applefest 2017.
