The Cairn Curran reservoir is situated along the Loddon River near the townships of Baringhup, Newstead and Welshmans Reef.
Its an irrigation reservoir that’s also great for freshwater fishing and water skiing. It features an active yacht club too.
It’s about 40 minutes away from Harcourt, but well worth the trip.
